TimelyGrader Nov 1st Update

Happy Halloween! To fit in with the theme, today’s update captures some of old ghosts within the system and squashes some bugs that appeared in our recent updates.

1. Admin Dashboard scalability changes

TimelyGrader now supports up to 500 sub accounts with in sub accounts! Previously, we did not anticipate institutions to have more than a few dozen sub accounts.

Well with some of our larger institutions, there can be hundreds of sub accounts and sub sub accounts, and sub sub sub accounts, and sub sub sub sub sub…you get my point.

As a result, the Admin Dashboard can now smartly handle foldered sub accounts and prevent issues, meaning faster loading speeds and less crashes for our large institutional partners.

2. Manual inline comments file pass back to LMS

When you turned off the AI generated inline comments, that also meant that we turned off the pass back for the annotated file. Oops - we did not realize instructors were going to add their own! I guess some of our instructors really like giving feedback.

Now, as long as we detect a trace of an inline comment. We will send the annotated file back to hell (hmph I mean LMS).

3. Sortable Name now used in feedback and AI justifications

Last week, we added the Sortable Name (if available on the LMS) so that you can track students and files better. This week, we thought it would be helpful for TimelyGrader to also use this Sortable Name in the feedback and justification so that it is even more personalized and relevant.
