Sneak Peek: Inline Comments Are Coming to TimelyGrader

We’re excited to give you a first look at a powerful new feature coming soon to TimelyGrader: inline comments. Why? We want to cover all ways that instructors provide their students with assignment feedback (besides audio feedback but just you wait!).

With inline comments, you’ll be able to generate context-specific comments directly within student submissions, making your feedback clearer, more actionable, and easier for students to connect to their submission. Of course, this is fully customizable based on your requirements: length, complexity, style, and etc.

Here’s what you’ll be able to do:

• Ask TimelyGrader to generate inline comments based on your rubric and/or custom instructions. By the way - you can turn this off.

• Edit, delete, or build on any AI-generated inline feedback while you are reviewing AI suggested grades and general feedback

• Add your own inline comments anywhere in the document

• Pass it back into your LMS

Inline comments will be beta tested first with our institutional partners as long as they’ve integrated TimelyGrader into their LMS and will be made available to self-serve users once thoroughly tested. Things are subject to change!
