Grading and feedback fine-tuning now available!

It’s finally here! Fine-tuning is now available to all users on the platform. This is one of the larger updates we’ve had in a while so here are some things to expect.

1. If you don’t see fine-tuning right away

   Remember, fine-tuning is only available for assignments without any final submissions generated. If student submissions have already been uploaded, fine-tuning will automatically be skipped. To enable fine-tuning, please duplicate the assignment or create a new one.

2. It’s a new assignment with no submissions uploaded, I still don’t see it

   If TimelyGrader is already open in your browser, please refresh the page to load the latest updates. After refreshing, you should see the screen shown below. If it still doesn't appear, try doing a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to ensure you're viewing the most current version.

   

3. Load times might be longer than usual

   As our platform and user base continue to expand, we're approaching our allocated usage limits. While we've proactively implemented measures to minimize bottlenecks, you may experience processing times up to 30% longer than usual. Typically, processes will still complete in under a minute, but during peak usage periods, certain tasks may take up to three minutes to finish.

4. If you experience a bug, a crash, or something odd…

   Please send a screenshot and describe the situation in an email to our support team ([email protected]) and someone on the support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
