CSV Exports: Improved Feedback Visibility & Pre-Grading Analysis

More transparent feedback and better AI vs human grading comparisons

This week we have been updating CSV export for grading to improve feedback visibility and make grading comparisons between AI and human review easier.

Before & After Feedback in CSV

You’ll now be able to see both before and after states directly within the feedback column in the CSV export. This makes it easier to highlight changes and clearly communicate what was adjusted during grading, whether those adjustments come from AI-generated feedback or human review.

This helps instructors distinguish between initial AI suggestions and final human refinements, with more transparency for quick auditing and comparison of grading decisions.

Download Grading CSV Before Review

The option to download the CSV before review can now take place. This gives instructors a clear view of the AI’s suggested grades and feedback in their original state, before any manual adjustments.

Having access to this data before grading allows instructors to compare AI-generated evaluations against their own grading approach, helping them verify consistency in how work is assessed. It also makes it easier to review historical grading patterns and check whether AI suggestions align with intended grading standards, improving both trust and calibration over time!

Update will become available Friday, April 24th, at 3PM PST.
