Bug Fixes, Polished Workflows, and a Few Quiet Improvements

Fixes across roster sync, assignment imports, rubrics, and grading workflows to keep TimelyGrader running smoothly.

This week’s update focuses on…

and polish across the platform, with several fixes to syncing, imports, and grading workflows, so everything runs a little smoother behind the scenes.

So here’s what’s been updated:

Roster Sync Improvements
Fixed an issue where syncing by Section Instructor could override and remove users from other sections. Section updates from Canvas will now properly sync to TimelyGrader!

Assignment Import Stability
We corrected a bug where the total assignment count could increase incorrectly when duplicate submissions were imported. Now the system shows the correct number of submissions.

We also fixed a case where the Publish button for assignment could get stuck loading after canceling a rubric sync. Publishing assignments should now work smoothly without getting stuck in limbo.

SpeedGrader Comment Formatting
We heard your struggle seeing general feedback format isn’t properly shown on Canvas’s SpeedGrader. We have updated it and now formatting properly with paragraph breaks that ease your reading.

Rubric Language Fix
Previously, some courses set to Spanish in their feedback generation language would generate rubrics in English. Rubrics will now generate in the correct language (try out our recently rolled out language Español!…only if you’re feeling bilingual).

These fixes are rolling out on Friday @ 4pm PST! Cheers!
